Pokemon Alpha Sapphire

Pokémon is a media franchise owned by The Pokémon Company and created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996. It is centered on fictional creatures called “Pokémon,” which humans capture and train to fight each other for sport. The franchise began as a pair of video games for the original Game Boy developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. The franchise now spans video games, trading card games, animated television shows and movies, comic books, and toys. Pokémon is the second-most successful and productive video game-based media franchise in the world, behind only Nintendo’s Super Mario franchise.
Whether it is traveling through a new region, revisiting some of the historical regions, or just playing the game for the thrill, Pokémon is a “utility game.”  What is meant by this is there are many ways to play the game. The way I play the game…..all of the above. When I play Pokémon, I simply want to play to achieve my goals. These past two years have been a big step in the Pokémon world.  When the Nintendo 3DS released, Pokémon and many other games had to take their game to another level where the graphics and the game play became reality.  That said, Pokémon created “Generation VI,” or Gen VI.  This is one of the six generations of the Pokémon video game franchise. 4 games from Gen VI have already come out. Those games are Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.  These games have become legendary to the franchise because of the storyline and the game play.  The graphics are also very realistic, especially when you have the 3D on.
But now…we come to talk about Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, or Pokémon AS.  This game is very similar to Pokémon Omega Ruby because they are both remakes from the past games: Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire.  Pokémon AS came out on November 21st, 2014 and can be purchased at any electronic store, but you can only use it if you have a Nintendo 3DS.
The game itself is very interesting.  With all the new features, the game play is awesome. The storyline is amazing, especially the parts of the game where you battle Team Aqua. The Pokémon that live there are very strong and some of the very best out there.  The game battling-wise is very challenging.  With the Pokémon being much stronger, it means that your Pokémon have to be the strongest in order to win.  On the other hand, if you don’t possess the ability to pick a great team of Pokémon, it is very difficult to succeed in the game.  Overall, I would give the game a 4.9 out of 5.
