Frank has had great success at M.E. and has been #1 in sales volume for 33+ years, so the name Ol’ #1 was bestowed upon him. The award that has meant the most to him during his career was the very first one he ever received at M.E. It was 1975 and Frank received the Weekly Volume Award! Frank has always been an inspiration to everyone at M.E. from Curt and Dennis on down to the Home Office Staff, so in 2002 the Frank Grendler award was introduced. This award honors the Top Manager/Phone for the year.
M.E. is very much like a family to Frank. He has built some great relationships over the years with many in the Home Office. Frank stresses the importance of coming to Fargo. Not only do you learn new techniques, new ideas and get to meet everyone you talk to on the phone but it also rejuvenates you. It is fun to come to Fargo.
For Frank, the M.E. opportunity has meant providing a good income for his family and enjoying the challenging yet fun career with freedom to work and play at his own pace. Frank’s work ethic is a great example to Rookies and Veterans alike. Frank’s advice for rookies is “Do your best, work hard and the results will take care of themselves.” During his career, Frank has had many 20+ order days and even a few over 30 orders. Frank works hard on the phone, as those that have been at a phone session with him can attest to. He keeps the phone to his ear and by doing so he has had many 200+ call days and a few over 300! That is what has brought him to his latest milestone!
A few of Frank’s hobbies include pheasant hunting and fishing! Frank has taken many trips to Canada to go fishing. He has also been to Yellowknife, Northwest Territory, as well as Lake Athabasca and can’t wait to return for the “Big Catch!”
Frank says the key to his success is, “Always work hard enough to have the satisfaction and pride with the business I’ve written.”
