Cozumel

Breakfast was at 10 and then it was off to do some shopping in Cozumel. The girls had been to some shopping seminars on the ship yesterday and they got the low down on all the jewelry places. Plus, my younger one wanted all the free charms available at each shop.
IMG_0486A quick cab ride took us over to the recommended area of town. The ship provided a list of authorized shops. I recommend sticking to them as we learned the hard way when hitting a none recommended booth. We got ripped off a couple bucks. No big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it was a lesson, nonetheless.
For lunch, we hit a raved-about restaurant. The food was fresh and was OK. Nothing special about it except the authentic feel. The ship raved about this place having the best guacamole on the planet. It was fresh, but it was also the most ordinary guacamole as well.

We spent the whole day out and arrived back on the ship at around 5. The ship left port around 630. Then, unfortunately, our evening took a downward turn. I will keep the negative details to a separate post which I’ll title, “Interim.” I want to keep the daily posts positive. The situation took until 2am to be rectified and would still need to be finished tomorrow.
We had a 10pm show to see. “Come Fly With Me” was an acrobat type show. Once again, the performers were talented but the show was just OK.
Tomorrow is the last day of the cruise and we are scheduled to be at sea. Here is to a positive and fun final day.
