Secretly I love the red carpet more than the actual award show. So now the award for the best look on this year’s Oscars red carpet. Mario Lopez takes the cake for the guys. His classic look has me looking like the heart eye emoji. I mean does this man age because he still looks H.O.T. My honorary mention goes to Ansel Elgort. Ansel rocked the red carpet in a two-toned blue and black suit and black bow-tie. I like the fact that he was willing to step away from the classic all black suit, and I really enjoyed the fact his suit was two-toned. My favorite part of his look? The fact he brought his mom as his date. So adorable!
As for the ladies, it was a tie. I am completely obsessing over the dresses worn by Giuliana Rancic and Anna Kendrick. Giuliana’s red dress looks completely stunning on her, and fits her body perfectly. I love the fact the top is sheer with flower accents. I also love the mermaid bottom with flowers accenting the dress’s slit. Not to mention this dress completely compliments her new hair color. So Giuliana, can I possibly borrow this dress? On the flip side Anna Kendrick looked elegant in her very simple peach colored gown. What has me completely in love with this look is how well the color compliments her skin tone and her dark hair. I love how easily she is able to make simple look elegant and stunning. I also love that the neck is diamond and posing as her jewelry. My honorary mention for the ladies goes to Zendaya. She wore an off the shoulder white gown and dreads. That’s right DREADS. Now normally I do not like the dreads look, but let me tell you she completely slayed in dreads. The reason she is my honorary mention is for the simple fact that she was willing to step outside the box and compliment her elegant dress with dreads. You go girl! Make that fashion statement!
