Overall, I am happy with the final outcome given my circumstances. I do wish that I had a little more time or that I done more work but I still believe that my work is good, especially the poster. To begin with I made a project plan, outlining what I want to achieve from week to week. I then started my research and wrote down my interpretation of the brief. I done research on chocolate boxes, other packaging, Egypt, hieroglyphics, fonts, jewelry etc. I also looked up some dimensions. During this whole process I was adding to my sketbook. We then had a little activity called “Thinking out the box” where we had to come up with a plan, idea and mindmap within half an hour for a chocolate box that related to out theme – mine being Egyptian. I also looked up some of the current trends.I researched 6 inspirations next and then 4 inspirational words with a moodboard. I took the words from my main mindmap and added pictures that I thought related to that word. I then showed off my four ideas and wrote a little about them. After choosing my final two I developed them further, trying out new things, different colours, textures etc. I then picked my final idea and moved on to the promotional poster research and final poster.
