so first up!
my favorite makeup product: it’s a simple little maybelline lipstick in the shade 280– rum riche. i don’t usually like lipstick, but for some reason this month i’ve been really enjoying it. you can get this little guy at your walgreens or cvs or where-have-you. it’s a little dark but not too dark, the perfect winter color, i believe! sometimes the red lipstick is a bit too cliche, so this dark-pinky color really caught my eye.
for food– aloe gloe is the best water EVER. it’s a little sweet and honestly not for everyone, but i’m in looooove. it’s so so so good.
book wise, it goes to wild by cheryl strayed. no i haven’t finished this book yet, i just started it a few days ago, but i thought i would include it anyway because i absolutely love it! right from the beginning it’s so detailed and tugs on your heart strings. eeeeek, i won’t ruin anything for you by saying too much, but if you’re looking for a heartfelt and adventurous novel at the same time, this is definitely for you!

oh man, my favoriteFAVORITEfavorite scent this month and pretty much since november is black bamboo. it smells SO gooooood. it’s almost like mahogany teakwood from bath and body works, but not as strong or manly. i got this from tj maxx in like october/november and have since bought another one because i just don’t want any other candle lit in my room. i recommend it for sure.
jewelry wise– my zodiac necklace. –taurus– oy vey, i’m pail. i mentioned in my post of 25 facts about myself that i read my horoscope every day, yet i don’t believe in them. still 100% true. haha, i don’t know why. anyway, i purchased this necklace at claire’s i believe in october and i’m still in love!
i’m not sure how many of you are into youtube but my favorite youtuber this month goes out to danielle mansutti. she has beautiful makeup tutorials and has an all around awesome personality. if you’re ever looking for someone to watch, check out her channel!
now the last two categories were really really really hard for me. clothes and music.
asking a girl to pick out her favorite clothing item is near to impossible. but i’ve narrowed it down to two! the winner goes to my north face sweatpants (my bf got me for christmas, praise jesus he has good taste!). they’re SO soft. they have like fleece on the inside, but it’s thin so it isn’t too much. andddd my h&m scarf that i mentioned in a previous blog post. both are SO comfortable and with this cold and dry weather, i barely ever wear anything else. haha i feel like a bum saying my favorite clothing item is a pair of sweatpants, but let’s be real here– would you rather wear sweatpants or jeans? honestly.
and last but not least! MUSIC. this was also extremely hard to choose. i go through an infinite amount of music each month. but the award goes too andrew mcmahon! he’s just so amazing. very poppy and chill and alternative and acoustic and easy rock and brilliant and beautiful. yah.. that’s my really terrible explanation of his music. you might recognize his voice from jack’s mannequin or something corporate.hahaha. click on his name to check out music by him!
