My Nail Inspiration: Kylie Jenner (taken from her Instagram @kyliejenner)
The nail look I decided to recreate is this simple yet gorgeous cornflower blue as seen in Kylie’s recent Instagram images above. The first image sees Kylie showing off her newly painted manicure paired with several diamond rings including her favourite brand: Cartier. The second controversial and highly talked about photoshoot image sees Kylie again showcasing her stunning bright blue nails (amongst other things!).
Barry M Gelly in Blueberry
Rimmel 60 Seconds in 503-Mind the Gap, Victoria
In order to recreate this look I had two possible dupe polishes in mind: Barry M Gelly in Blueberry (a personal fave!) and Rimmel London’s 60 Seconds polish in 503-Mind the Gap, Victoria. As both these colours are virtually the same shade and both suitable dupes of Kylie’s I decided to go with the one that I haven’t tried before which was the Rimmel 60 Seconds polish. I haven’t tried a lot of Rimmel’s polishes in the past usually opting for other drugstore brands such as Barry M and Essie but I was pleasantly surprised with the overall coverage and consistency of this polish. But if you prefer a more gel finish I would recommend Barry M’s Blueberry.
All I did to recreate this look was simply paint all my nails using the Rimmel polish and set it using my Seche Vite Dry Fast top coat.
The Finished Look
And this was the finished look! I feel the outcome is very similar to Kylie’s manicure so I am pleased with how this turned out. I am a huge fan of cornflower blue nails and will definitely be rocking this vibrant shade throughout spring and summer. I would definitely recommend either of these 2 polishes in order to recreate a similar look to Kylie’s. I will link both of these down below and also a link to a China Glaze dupe incase that brand is more accessible to you.

And if you really want to go all-out and create the whole Kylie Jenner look, try adding a few gold rings to each hand. Don’t worry these don’t have to be Cartier! I have listed a few examples of cheaper alternatives above and linked a few down below.
