[The Herald]A 35-year-old Congolese man seeking refuge in Zimbabwe was recently arrested with over 600 pieces of diamonds worth $31 843. Nitta Didier appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Tendai Mahwe facing charges of contravening section 3 (1) of the Precious Stones Trade Act Chapter 21.06 as read with section 3(2) of the same Act which prohibits possession of precious stones without a licence.
