After class ended I went home and studied. I lost track of time and ate lunch around 1pm. Since I was feeling really lazy I just bought some food at the 7-11 downstairs.
After lunch I took a nap for a good two hours. At 6pm I had dinner with my host family. During dinner we watched this really funny Chinese cartoon and talked about Ivy leaving for Singapore this Wednesday.
Now I am sitting with my host family in the living room digesting my food and watching the news. Ruby is being funny and stubborn as always and insists on flashing us her underwear instead of eating her food.
This Wednesday is the first of two Bopomofo classes. For anyone who needs a reminder of what Bopomofo is, it is what Taiwan uses instead of Pinyin to help foreigners and small children be able to pronounce Chinese characters. Next week will be particularly busy because iEARN is holdings a winter camp and I have signed up to be a volunteer. On 2/2 and 2/3 I have training for the camp and then 2/4 I will participate in the camp as a volunteer. Once I am more clear on my role I will be able to give more details. Wednesday I have a chapter test so I will get back to studying now.
