ATX is home to SO many great things, including SXSW (South By Southwest), which is a film and music festival; this spring break I decided to volunteer as apart of the film venue staff at the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz (downtown on sixth- definitely a prime location to see so many people…*famous actors and actresses*- eeep!). It’s been an incredible experience to see many films, attend unique parties and events, and to be apart of such a detailed festival.
When I wasn’t on duty and wearing my (not so cute) very vibrant purple volunteer shirt, I wore a few of my favorite outfits already featured on the blog (from Red, White, & Distressed and February Favorites), while also incorporating one of my favorite pieces, this kimono, into my SXSW looks. I veered away from wearing just a crop top and shorts and instead, I wore mostly jeans (distressed, cropped, or colored) with a simple top, but focused a lot on accessories (hats and jewelry) and what to wear over my tops (flannels, denim shirts, or a kimono).
