50 Questions

  

Recently, I learnt from a dear friend and one of my favourite blogger, Rashmi about tag posts. Apparently, a blogger has to answer 50 personal questions and tag other bloggers to continue the chain. I usually shy away from answering any kind of personal questions, let alone write a blog on it! But, I felt these questions are not too personal so I am perfectly fine answering them . Let’s get down to business.  

1. When is your Birthday?
    June 3rd.

2. Which celebrity do you share your birthday with?
    Rafael Nadal, Wasim Akram, Kelly Jones, and Karunanidhi.

3. What according to you would be the perfect gift anyone can give you on your Birthday?
    A good book.
    

4. Have you ever met anyone (non-famous) with whom you share your Birthday with?
    Yes, my first friend from my first school – Smitha.

5. Zodiac sign?
    Gemini
    

6. Who and what inspired you to start blogging?
    Honestly, I never thought I could write. I always enjoyed reading other’s blogs.  I visited Ladakh in July 2014 and thought I should have a travelogue, a throwback to the wonderful experiences. Also, I thought it would help other travel enthusiasts.

7. Have you ever been in love?
    Aahhh hmm 

8. Ever had a terrible breakup?
    Aahhh hmm uhhh… 

9. How tall are you?
    5′ 2″.  Don’t laugh. Remember, All good things come in small packages. “Murthy chikkadadaru Keerthi doddadu”.  

10. Do you have any tattoos?
     No, I don’t intend to have one, ever!

11. Any piercings?
     Yes, one on each earlobe. Nothing unusual.

12. Favourite Show?
     Many. The Big Bang Theory, Friends, That 70s show, Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai, to name a few

13. Favourite band?
     Backstreet Boys, FunktuaTion, Linkin Park, Coldplay

14. Favourite song?
     Too many to list. For now I would say any song from the above listed bands.

15. Favourite brand?
     Not too specific. Fossil, Casio, Levi’s to name a few.

16. Favourite Makeup brand?
     None! Hate wearing makeup. Wait.. except eye makeup that is, so I would say Maybelline and No7 for kohl and eyeliner respectively.

17. Favourite Perfume?
     Again, not too choosy.

18. Favourite Flowers?
     Gerbera and Daisy

19. Favourite actor?
     Tom Hanks, Will Smith, Aamir Khan, Ananth Nag, Leonardo DiCaprio, Nawazuddin Siddiqui

20. Favourite fictional style icon?
     Wilma Flintstone. She was so modern in the stone age! Look at her!  I always admired her hair and necklace.

     Black and Teal

     Someone who is a keen listener and down to earth.

     Both. Depends on the mood.

28. What do you do when you’re sad?
     Sleep

     Dogs any day!

30. Coffee or Tea?
     Coffee- South Indian strong filter coffee.

31. Favourite food?
     Masala Dosa, Uppitu (yes, I love it!), Quesadilla, Falafel, wraps/rolls, Idli.

32. Meaning behind your Blog name?
     Life is indeed a journey. Isn’t it?

33. Last book you read?
     Me Before You – JoJo Moyes

34. The book you’re currently reading?
     I too had a Dream- Dr. Verghese Kurien

     The Big Bang Theory Season 8

36. Last movie you really loved?
     Interstellar.

     A Day Swan, mostly. Sometimes both!

     My phone is always on silent.

     Namma Bengaluru forever. London would be the second favourite.

46. Something you miss?
     Summer vacations. Old Bangalore weather. My long hair. 

47. Things that you cannot leave your house without?
     Phone, keys, and a bottle of water.

48. What’s your idea of a dream vacation?
     - To travel all seven continents. 2 down, 5 more to go.
     - To visit as many places as possible in India, Europe and New Zealand.

49. What’s the next trip you are going to take?
     Shimla, Kulu and Manali in June 2015.
