In partnership with Carmichael Outreach, we are pleased to be hosting a weekly Art Program out of the Herit
age office! This 16 week program will focus on traditional First Nations and contemporary art. Students will create teepee lamps, learn about various styles of beading, make their own Moccasins, and learn the basics of photography. The program will windup with a city-wide art crawl where students can put their new art-skills to the test and take snapshots of key points of interest.
There are a few spots available for Heritage residents! Join us on Tuesdays from 1:30-3:30pm to create some unique art, meet new people, and learn about First Nations culture. There is no cost to participate but space is limited so please contact us to reserve your spot. You can sign up for one program or all of them! Free snacks are provided after each class.
