I know, it is already Saturday in some parts of the world. This project took me longer than I wanted, but it is finished now and I wear it with pride.
I made a necklace from 3 sheets of paper which were completely cut into 1/2 inch diameter circles. This morning I had the great idea to buy a hole puncher in that size, but I couldn’t find one. I needed to stick to the time-consuming and not so precise method of cutting every single circle out by hand. Though I must say, I really like the look.
And since it took so much time, I will share only some pictures today without preparing a hole slide to save and print.
So, here is how I did it:
1. Draw as many circles as you want on your sheets of paper (I used 1/2 inch or 1,5 cm). Cut them all out.
2. Use a needle and beading string to thread all the paper circles (make sure you always find the middle).
3. Secure the ends with a crimp bead and a bead tip. Attach some chain in your desired length and voila: Done!
I am so excited, I do want make more of those. I will have to find one of these punching things because cutting took just too much time.
How do you like it?
I see you next week, enjoy your weekend
