Memento mori is a Latin phrase meaning remember that you have to die.
It is meant as a reflection on mortality. Memento mori has been an important part of perfecting the character, by cultivating detachment and other virtues, and turning the attention towards the immortality of the soul and the afterlife.
My venture into making a rosary started with an attempt at making a Buddhist Mala or prayer chain.
I like the wearable look of a rosary with the same repetitive intent of a Mala so I went the route of a rosary.
While making the chain I imbue each link with positivity and peace.
It’s a meditative process for me from beginning to end.
