Yesterday I got out my boxes of jewelry making supplies and started going through stuff to see what I could make. I cleaned up some old pieces and removed rhinestones from them to put new ones in, and then I moved on to my chainmail rings and scales while watching the last episode of Vikings, season 2 before my amazon prime free trial ended! I ended up making a couple of dangle hijab pins and a bracelet and almost used up all my red scales.
I’ve always loved chainmail, costumes and period clothing. I love watching movies and admiring the way the stripes match, or the embroidery and ribbons that were used, and of course the overall design and how it tells us things about the characters personality, status, and profession.
Now I need to get some kind of closure for the bracelet I made and it will be all done.
