   Written many years ago…
he is from the old school
 when men were men.
 the type to open the
 car door for a woman,
 and light her cigarette.
 and the lady ALWAYS
 goes first.
 a true gentleman.
 and a gentle man too.
 who never gets angry.
 the kind that takes care
 of financial matters
 because after all,
 he is the man.
 he is careful about
 his appearance
 as he is an artist
 and latin
 and it is his culture
 to do so.
 he always wears a hat
 when he leaves the house.
 and never leaves
 without all his jewelry
 and the scent he likes.
 he is passionate
 about family and his
 relationship with God.
 he has the voice
 of an angel.
 he will only drink espresso,
 says american coffee is
 not to his liking.
 he says my only flaw
 is that i do not speak
 enough spanish.
