Now to get to enjoy our long weekend in the sun, we first had a bit of travel…and by a bit we mean a 4 hour bus ride, 21 hour cruise, 2 hour ferry, and then a half hour bus…but it was well worth it! Once in Greece, we arrived at the popular party hostel, The Pink Palace! It was a hot, bright pink hostel overlooking the ocean. Once we got there, we all did an ATV tour of the city, where we rode around for hours through the streets of Corfu, stopping along the way to view the most awesome views of the city! That night was Halloween, and the hostel threw a Halloween party for us. As basic as we are, us four dressed up as cats. The next morning, we boarded the “Booze Cruise.” We cruised around the ocean and stopped at private beaches and blasted music until later that day. That night, our hostel had a pink toga party! After an awesome provided dinner, everyone dressed up in their togas and hung out by the bar all night. The following morning, we went into Corfu town where we bought the coolest jewelry and walked through the streets filled with shops and restaurants, just meters from the beach. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful all weekend! Sad to go, we left that night and went back to our 24 hours of traveling home…only one more weekend trip next weekend before the end of the semester:(
