We had our wedding preparation discussion last weekend and I have doubt.
My parents mention to MS about this. To find an ustaz, “old and highly religious” to go on check on both our horoscope and suitable wedding date. When we both heard it, including MS’s side, we totally shock. This is my very first time hearing about this.
I’m not sure if my parents is totally against the date 17 April 2016. I can’t slept the whole night and ask MS to email MUIS instead of going to find those “ustaz”. When I told my girlfriends about this, they ask me to read up on Quran. I’m like ……! I need a full solid proof answer about this. They are just not helping. Grrr! takpe, takpe.. sabar.. dugaan tu. Sigh!
My parents was saying this is the dulu-dulu nye of setting the wedding date. I want to argue with them but I control my anger. I don’t understand what they actually want. They just making things difficult. I’m okay if they want to follow those “old” traditions just because I’m their first child but we already living in which era. Gosh!
